Connexor, a provider of multilingual language technology to developers of knowledge-intensive software applications, released version 4.6 of Machinese Phrase Tagger. Machinese Phrase Tagger is a customizable text-analysis tool that uses advanced linguistic technologies to convert unstructured text into useful business data.
Several new features are language identification, noun phrase detection, command line utility and TCP/IP socket server program now also available for MS Windows, revised command line program output formats (including an option for XML-formatted output), intelligent handling of XML input, options to handle imperfect input texts and sentence boundaries marked in the analysis. The language models have also been updated, and speed and memory usage of the software have been improved.
Machinese Phrase Tagger v. 4.6 is available for English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish, Danish and Norwegian. The supported platforms are Linux, Sun Solaris and Microsoft Windows. |
